Hi! I'm Tori, a junior at Vassar College studying in Copenhagen with DIS this spring. I'm from Long Island, NY, and my semester abroad marks my first time traveling outside the country. I changed my major to English and switched my minor to comparative politics the day before I left Vassar this winter, so my semester abroad comes at a time of some pretty big academic changes for me! With DIS, my core course is Sociology: Cultural Diversity and Integration (that means a travel week in Rome!). I'll also be taking Danish Language and Culture, Queer and Subversive Writers in European Cities, and Postcolonial Europe: Narratives, Nationalism, and Race. I hope to use this space to also write about living in a kollegium, eating a vegan diet in Copenhagen, and my personal travels throughout Europe! I'm incredibly excited to capture and reflect on my experiences to come :')
