I'm a public school special education teacher, currently working at a middle school on the Connecticut shoreline. I'm also a perpetual graduate student- as of today, I am working on my doctorate at Central Connecticut State University. I believe in the importance of keeping public education PUBLIC and am concerned about current education reform policies that are privatizing education and creating further inequities. For the past couple of years, I have been working with professors, teachers, and parents to spark critical community conversations about education.
