This blog is created for those who like adventure stories or stories about heroes or stories about women. It is for people who feel busy or tired or nervous or doubtful that a perfect God would have ever intentionally brought to wherever they currently are. Mostly, though, this blog is intended for people who hope to catch glimpses of how big and how good God is. When Amy Carmichael arrived in India as a missionary, she began gathering a small group of Indian women who were eager to share with others how Jesus had changed their lives. They called themselves "The Starry Cluster." Although Amy laughed when she first heard the name, she remembered Daniel 12:3 ("Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above, and those who turn many to righteousness like stars forever and ever") and prayed that it would be true of these women and of herself. When Ginger Blomberg arrived in the middle of America as the wife of non-profit lawyer and the mother of several preschoolers, she began this blog to learn about the lives of other women who followed God and who, in fact, did shine in the places God brought them. Her plan is to write about six different women in the next six months.
