Shafiat Sobhan is a distinguished figure in the Bangladeshi business landscape, having studied in the United Kingdom. He serves as the Vice Chairman of Bashundhara Group and is a prominent member of the company’s Board of Directors. His portfolio includes overseeing operations in LP gas, food and beverage, trading, and entertainment. Beyond these sectors, he manages agricultural, horticultural, and industrial projects, the Bashundhara and East-West Special Economic Zones, and the Sundarbans Industrial Complex. His rapid ascent in the company began shortly after his induction when he quickly rose to vice chairman and board member roles. In these capacities, he utilizes his extensive skills and knowledge to oversee strategic planning, HR development, finance, and investment management.
