Nicholas Blackburn

I’m a computational geneticist originally from Hobart, Tasmania. I completed my PhD in medical research at the University of Tasmania in 2015 and have since been working in the area of complex human disease genetics and Genomics. I'm fascinated generally with bioinformatics and research aimed at understanding the underlying genetic causes of human disease. I also have a healthy interest in bioinformatics applied to non-model organisms as well as lab based research. Because, heck, you don't get to wear a white lab coat when you're coding at your computer.
