Howdy, I am Michael Morgan, and I write fiction and non-fiction books and articles on a variety of topics. My enthusiasm for our collective ancestors started when I was very young. Over the years I have dedicate a lot of my time to learning how people of the past lived. This is an ongoing labor of love motivated by how many people really have no connection to history. My non-fiction work tends to explorations into antique and ancient technologies and living skills. The Handbook of Modern Percussion Revolvers was my first published work. The initial printing of this book sold out. It is currently available in eBook format at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. I am a voracious reader on a wide range of topics. As such, I seldom know what type of story I will be writing next. My short story "Three Righteous Souls" won 2nd place in the Dallas Business Council for the Arts 2017 Literary contest. This initial story grew into a much longer work that is now available on Amazon Kindle. My goal with this blog is to expand my horizons as a writer. Non-fiction articles will tend to a historical/anthropological theme discussing our collective ancestors and how they lived. Hopefully we can learn some things together. Stories will be tested, and any feedback is welcome. I will also include a Travelogue series to share my experiences as a world traveler and how-to tips picked up along the way.
