Melinda

Melinda Renken is an author cleverly disguised as a person without fictional people walking around in her head. She was awarded her B.A. in creative writing from The Evergreen State College in 2013 and was awarded her MFA from Sierra Nevada College in August 2016. Melinda is currently at work (in the painfully slow manner of a slug on tranquilizers) on her first novel. She expects to publish it sometime before civilization comes to an end--though she isn't ruling out delays and false starts. She lives in a rural community in Eastern Idaho. Her very spoiled cats, Chloe (5 years) and Sebastian (1.5 years) and the spirits of Cameron (I lost him in August 2015) and Bella (she left me after 18 years of love in April 2018) graciously allow her to live in their house.
