I retired in 2022 as Professor of Developmental Neuropsychology at the University of Oxford, where I worked on developmental language disorders and brain lateralization. I am an honorary fellow of St John’s College Oxford, and a Fellow of the Royal Society, Fellow of the British Academy and Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences. Beyond psychology, I am active in the field of open science and research reproducibility, and in 2015 I chaired a symposium by the Academy of Medical Sciences on 'Reproducibility and Reliability of Biomedical Research'. I'm keen on open science and combatting research fraud.
