David P. Clapp, GRI, CDPE, SFR has been a full time REALTOR since 1978, practicing for 21 years outside of Philadelphia PA, and now for an additional 11 years in Sarasota FL. Dave’s real estate accomplishments include being the top producing agent in his office, Director of Training for Corporate Century 21 in PA, Licensed Real Estate Instructor, Licensed Appraiser, and Broker / Co-Owner of a Top Ranked Multi Office Firm in PA. While living in PA, Dave was very active in his Association of REALTORS and MLS organizations, where he served in various capacities for many years. For both production, and Association activities, Dave has been awarded numerous awards including the Presidents Award, Chairman of the Year, REALTOR of the Year in 1993, to name just a few. For the past number of years, Dave has been a Manager and the Director of Education with RE/MAX Alliance Group. For 2010 Dave’s involvement with Sarasota Association of REALTORS includes; member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of Vendor Data Committee, Member of the Professional Development Committee, Chairman of the Technology Sub-committee responsible for Technology Expo, Member of the Power Marketing Committee, Education Coordinator for Education at Power Marketing. Additionally, Dave has served as a past Board Member, Secretary of the Board, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Professional Development committee, and the Chairman of a sub committee that was responsible for developing SAR’s basic educational program called “14 Key Strategies for Real Estate Success”.
