I'm a NERC-funded PhD researcher at the British Antarctic Survey with a passion for science communication. My work focuses on what is making ice shelves like Larsen C (on the Antarctic Peninsula) melt. That means I spend most of my time thinking about the balance of energy at the ice surface, and the effect of clouds and weather/climate patterns on this balance.
