Anne Baber Wallis

Dr. Anne Baber Wallis is a global reproductive epidemiologist interested in social and biological causes of disease and an array of methodology and theoretical approaches to improve maternal health and neonatal outcomes globally. She has ongoing research projects based in west Africa, the US, Armenia, and Romania, and she collaborates with researchers elsewhere in eastern Europe and India. Anne has been a Fulbright scholar in Armenia and The Gambia and she is an associate professor at the University of Louisville School of Public Health & Information Sciences. She has two sons, one living and the other a beautiful spirit; a pair of labradoodles; and her horse, Josef. Anne plays the viola, rides (dressage and fox-hunting!), and she loves writing, birding, reading, and music from Bach to Mahler; from Ligeti to Miles Davis; and from Bartok to Bowie.
