Aaditya Chand

Aaditya Chand is a finance professional with a rich academic background and diverse international experience. Born in Aurangabad, India, he moved to Hong Kong at seven and later to the United States at nineteen. Alongside his academic achievements, Aaditya has gained valuable experience in mergers and acquisitions through various internships. Aaditya was exposed to diverse cultures from a young age, which helped him develop a flexible and adaptive mindset. His passion for finance was cultivated during his studies at The University of Manchester, where he pursued Economics and Finance and graduated with Upper Second-Class Honors in July 2022. His academic journey continued at University College London (UCL), where he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, deepening his understanding of Asset Pricing, Behavioral Finance, and Hedge Fund Strategies. Aaditya's experience in mergers and acquisitions was professionally enhanced by his summer internship in 2024 at Kennedy M&A, a global advisory firm. Here, he worked remotely, focusing on research and advisory tasks, including creating financial models and drafting sell-side information memoranda for clients seeking Series A funding. In 2022, he interned at Stephens in London, where he was involved in creating pitch books and assisting the Debt & Restructuring team, further honing his skills in financial analysis. Aside from his professional pursuits, Aaditya has a keen interest in football. He played as a goalkeeper and later served as vice-captain for the Manchester Medics Football Club during his university years, where he demonstrated his sporting skills and leadership abilities. Aaditya's early life in Hong Kong also saw him actively involved in the sport, where he received accolades such as Most Improved Player and Players' Player of the Year. Aaditya's technical skills are underpinned by his proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial platforms like S&P Capital IQ and FactSet. He is also fluent in English and Hindi, which allows him to communicate effectively across different geographies. His dedication to finance is also evidenced by his pursuit of the CFA Level 1 certification. Currently residing in Palo Alto, California, Aaditya Chand enjoys a life enriched by his passions. He continues to support Manchester City FC and takes pleasure in exploring new cuisines, mainly Asian food. His travels to Japan and Vietnam are among his most cherished experiences, offering him insights into their rich histories and cultures. Furthermore, Aaditya is committed to giving back to the community, as demonstrated by his volunteer work at the San Mateo Samaritan House, where he assists with client services and administrative tasks.
